About Healed Homes Foundation

We Believe Everyone Deserves a Safe Place to Call Home.

Healed Homes Foundation was built on the belief that no one should have to face a housing crisis alone. We connect individuals and families — especially those experiencing domestic violence — to the housing resources and practical support they need to move toward safety and stability.

Our Founder

Healed Homes Foundation was founded by Milkia Waller, known as Royale Elyse, with a deep personal commitment to ensuring that individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and housing instability have access to the resources and connections they need to find safety and rebuild their lives. Milkia created Healed Homes Foundation to bridge the gap between people in crisis and the organizations that can help — building a trusted, compassionate network of housing resources across the United States.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect individuals and families across the United States to safe housing resources, service providers, and practical support. We focus on those experiencing domestic violence — women, men, and parents with children — and work to ensure that every person has access to the information and connections they need to find a safe path forward.

Our Core Values — TRUST

Everything we do is guided by four core values that shape how we serve our community.

How We Work

Healed Homes Foundation is a connector. We build relationships with housing professionals, emergency shelters, transitional housing programs, and community service providers across the United States. When someone reaches out to us, we work to identify the resources available in their area and connect them with the right organizations. We do not operate shelters or housing programs directly — we are a bridge between people in need and the organizations that can help.

Our Initial Focus

While we serve anyone experiencing housing instability, our initial focus is individuals and families affected by domestic violence. This includes women, men, and parents with children who need a safe path out of an unsafe situation. We understand that leaving is complicated, and we are here to help make the next step possible.
